A set of guidelines has been introduced for those who upload to the gallery. Any questions please feel free to ask.
1-Photo size is restricted to no larger than 1mb, and 2048x2048 pixels. Anything larger will not upload for you.
2-There are plenty of respective albums available for photos to be placed in. PLEASE place photos in most correct album.
3-Personal/Private galleries are not permitted, this function has been turned off.
4-You may only use your own account for uploading your own photos.
5-Where possible, please fill out the 4 fields with the required info for each photo. In the operator field, if possible/applicable, state the ICAO and IATA code of the operator, eg "Ryanair (FR/RYR)" or "Aer Lingus (EI/EIN).
You must also state your name in the photographer field.
6-The photo description and title fields have restrictions. You are limited to no more than 3 lines of text in the description field. Anything larger generally disrupts the flow of photos for viewing. The title field should specify The type of aircraft (if possible, including variant), the operator of the aircraft, its registration and location if outside of Shannon. Please refrain from titling photos "My photo" etc. Where possible be as descriptive as you can when describing the photo. Information regarding the background of its visit, or information regarding its operator. However please refrain from copying and pasting large amounts of information into the description.
7- You may upload up to 5 photos at one time, from either local files on your computer or from URL's. Please note than when uploading from URL's copyright photos from other individuals may not be uploaded
8- Photos uploaded by the general public are screened before they appear, therefore expect a slight delay from uploading to them actually appearing. (This does not apply to the administrator group of users)
9-There is a new Flight Simulator screenshot section. It is suggested that screenshots of FS flights be posted here, including VATSIM event screenshots and so on. The same above rules apply to these screenshots.
