Hi guys
anybody see the virgin 747 landing at Shannon around 6 this morning. It flew over my house on downwind for 24 very low. Its call sign was virgin 66 and a quick search revealed that it departed Sangster International Airport at 4.15pm yesterday and was meant to arrive at gatwick at 6.55am (it was a code-share flight with air jamaica) i later took off at 7.21am and headed for London. there was no mention of a emergency on the radio.
