Just nabbed this off the net:

"
Flight EI372 operated by an Airbus 320.
The flight was booked as part of a trip to Jordan, with a connection in Heathrow on Royal Jordanian. The Aer Lingus segment to and from Heathrow was reasonable, as I was able to get it for €86 return.
I checked in the night before online, which was very convenient as I was able to select my seat. Upon arrival in Shannon I went to the bag drop desk and checked in my bag, but I was unable to have it thru checked to Amman. However the check in agent was very apologetic about not thru checking it, and advised there is a baggage storage place in Heathrow as I had an eight hour connection.
Security as in most cases in Shannon was quick and efficient; I was only five minutes going through security, despite the big crowd. Boarding commenced bang on time at 7.20, and within 20 minutes the plane was pushing back ready to depart. The flight took off 10 minutes early.
I had pre selected seat 22F, which was a window seat behind the wing. The choice of seat was fantastic as when we approached London the flight flew over the city, and I was on the side of the plane with the view. The day was clear and I could see all the famous London monuments, which were a great way to start my holiday.
The cabin crew was up to the usual Aer Lingus standard; polite, friendly and professional. Soon after take off, they began the sky café service with the usual buy on board products and the Irish breakfast, which I consider to be the best value item on the menu.
The flight crew kept us up to date throughout the flight, and the flight landed 20 minutes ahead of time in London. Unfortunately we were too early as our flight stand was still occupied, however after a short 10 minute delay we were on stand.
Overall a very good flight, with the crew continuing to maintain high standards and were professional throughout the flight.
Flight EI383 operated by an Airbus 320.
After a fantastic trip from Jordan on Royal Jordanian, I proceeded to Terminal one for my flight back to Shannon. I used the self check in machines, which Aer Lingus requires you to check in on and did a bag drop. The lines at the security check point were not too long at the time of the evening, which is great for Heathrow.
The flight arrived at the gate a little late, which was explained when I got on board the plane, as due to fog earlier in the day, all the flights were operating late to Ireland.
Board was performed 10 minutes after take off time, and I took my seat. We then pushed back, however there were further delays in getting to the runway due to congestion, so the flight was delayed a further 45 minutes. However once we got on to the runway, the take off was smooth.
As I was tried after travelling most of the day, I slept most of the flight. The seats on Aer Lingus are comfortable with adequate leg room. Landing again was very smooth into Shannon. The flight and cabin crew were courteous and kept us up to date through out the flight.
Overall another very good flight with Aer Lingus. Would I like to fly Aer Lingus in the future? Yes, however Aer Lingus have decided they don’t want the business of the people from the west of Ireland, as they are closing the Shannon – Heathrow route, so I doubt I will have the opportunity to fly them again, as I won’t be travelling to Cork or Dublin to fly them. Ryanair will have my business in the future."
