Not sure if everyone is aware of the news that a New A340-600 due to be delievered to Etihad within Days.

Bit of an unusual incident to break away whilst engine testing :confused:

Well there's one that isnt going to make it into 2008 Spotter Books... Written Off before its been delievered, not the best result.
I wouldnt like to be the person who failed to check everything Prior to the test. Their will be some red faces at Airbus at the minute.

Not a good time for the A340 in general. With the Iberia accident in Quito. I'll start a new thread about that now

Thanks for that. I thought everybody would of heard because i heard it, hours after it happened and i was slow adding it to the site.
